To me this is one of my favorite talks of ALL time. I have this Talk as my theme this year and this video does a beautiful job of showing why.

ER

For some insane reason the ER thinks I can throw a party. After last year's scary failure in party planning--ten people showed up--I was a bit nervous.  This year was different. My AMAZING committee helped me pull off a FANTASTIC party. One the ER has never been seen before.  Much planning, brainstorming, and driving went into this party.  Crystal, Katie, Amberly, Brittny, and Courtney really helped me get all the food and activities put together. 

I am still in shock. SOOO many people came to the party. We had cotton candy, balloons, water balloon volleyball, face-painting, a blow-up castle, pie eating contest, and a raffle drawing.  Oh did I mention food! Yes, we had food. I love how we ER workers can eat :D. I was able to relax and actually enjoy myself. Of course a mini water fight broke out. By the end the whole park was covered in flakes of cotton candy. What else do we expect?

After all the stress and headache, I CAN'T wait until next year's party. I'm already brainstorming ideas.

Openhouse

Mark and Heather's open house was sooo much fun. I arrived in time to help get things set up and run a few last minute errands. The thing the girls and I were most excited was the Chocolate Fountain. We had come up with our favorite dipping items and dove in. To be honest I think the family consumed most of the food. I was starving and couldn't resist eating my weight in chocolate dipped varieties.

After the house was set up, the people arrived. I loved talking to people I haven't seen in a while. Playing with my family. Posing for pictures. Eating good food. Oh the fun we had. Presents were opened. More chocolate was confirmed. Mark and Heather went home. I watched a movie with my family. Lots of dancing. Mocking of the steroid lemons. Time with Dani and Nicki. Gotta Love Open Houses.
