Parents

My parents celebrated their 30th anniversary this month. I don't often tell them how amazing I think they are. My parents are my heroes. They have done everything for me growing up. Without them I would not be who I am. I look up to them and turn to them for help. I know everyone says their parents are the best. Mine really are. I could not have asked for better parents to raise me. Happy anniversary Mom and Dad!

Goodbyes

I hate goodbyes. I was never good at them and it seems to just get worse. Scott and Amber are moving to Illinois. Scott was accepted into the University of Illinois Law program starting this fall. They are playing with her family for a few weeks before that starts. I didn't think it would be this hard to say goodbye. The last week has been full of fun stuff to send them off. Toy Story 3, shopping, pools, running around outside. I woke up to Weston jumping on top of me going Lissa Lissa!!

Today I said goodbye. I know they aren't that far away. With planes, phones, and computers we will keep in contact. I will just miss them. Scott is my big brother. Amber is the older sister I always wanted. Weston has my whole heart and makes me laugh. Catherine is just a doll and starting to show her personality. I will miss crashing their house. Late night talks. Playing with Weston. Hearing him smile and get excited when I walk in the room. Goofing off with Amber. Joking with Scott about his nerdiness. I know its not forever but I'm still bummed I can't see them everyday.

Bands

Lately my time has been occupied by a certain individual. Not complaining really. I actually really enjoy it. I went up to his brothers house and watched his band play. They were good! All those practices paid off. A gorgeous afternoon, a cute boy, music, and delicious food, yeah it was a perfect afternoon. Now if only I could get him on my vampire schedule.

Soccer

For a week I got to play soccer mom. Karlie, Kyra, Jessica, and their friend Sabrina came to stay with me. I loved it. I took the week off of work, rough I know right. The girls crashed on my floor all week. They had me up at 0700 everyday getting things ready and driving them to soccer camp. Love those girls. The noise level went up 20 degrees in my house. Surprisingly, I miss it. I love noise and chaos and having them around made it fun. While the little girls were at soccer camp Karlie and I ran errands, watched movies, played with kids, and took naps. Those crazy girls were so much fun to have around. My sisters joined us for a night and we played ultimate spoons, made junk food, watched lots of Gilmore Girls, and goofed off. To be honest it was fun to be a teenage girl again for a night. The fun only continued at home. I loved it and can't wait to do it again.

Bedroom/Bathroom

Oh my bedroom is now complete!! Well other than painting but that is a completely different adventure. Stay tuned. I love my desk and finally have enough room on my bookcases. Though I'm starting to think its a good thing I didn't go into construction or architecture I love how my room turned out. I still a mirror and clock for my bathroom but here you go. Semi-Hawaiian theme. I just love the colors. But it does need paint.
