Have I mentioned I have the cutest nieces and nephews? I do. I really do. I already miss seeing those kiddos everyday and watching them discover the world. Weston is still so sweet and Catherine everything a girly.

Dixie RRR
Racing Season Has officially begun for me this year. The first was the Dixie Red Rock Relay with the Woodwards. I loved the Zion relay in September and couldn't wait to do it with these girls. The Woodwards have been my neighbors for over 20 years and they continually make me laugh. Lets just say I may look up to them a bit. The race started bright and early for us at 0700 but that was only the beginning. The celebration began the night before as we sang Happy Birthday to Reanne. Hence the name of our team Party Like Your 55! Mckell went all out and decorated the truck in full party form. The decorations came in handy along the way a few times inspiring me to run just a bit farther.
We started out by getting our Tattoos in place. There was a lot of loved shared in those moments when faces were licked and spit was used. Lets just say we bonded. Reanne was the first to run and she took off! Did I mention that St. George is not so warm! The weekend of the race we had snow, wind, and cold temperatures. Sunny St. George my foot. However, it did prevent us from overheating. Which, compared to last year's adventure was amazing. Camille, Reanne, Mckell, Dawan, Tiff, and I had a blast riding in the car! Though the course did have a couple EVIL hills. My favorite was running 7.49miles in the snow. Who would have thought I know!
We even had a few additional friends join us on the run. These poor dogs join Reanne and ran for 20miles before we convinced one to hope in the truck. I'm pretty sure Mckell was as blue as her jacket by the end. The wind had picked up. The poor dog became the Mascot and drooled all over the place for us!
Reanne had a lot of people sing and say happy birthday to her along the way! My family was even in St. George to watch Kristi play tennis that weekend! We had a lot of support and a crazy schedule. I am pretty sure my legs were jello and stairs became the devil after the race but I loved it! Great food, no sleep, lots of support and random conversations. What else do you expect when you stick 6 girls together for so long?
I can't wait to do this again next! This women are amazing and inspire me to run better!
