Oh the Moving

I've officially owned my house for 10 days and I LOVE it! I'm still on the roommate hunt but I have loved this week just to myself. I abused my poor brothers again when I went to IKEA. I came out cheaper than I thought I would from that place. Needless to say a few hours later with lots of tools, nails, and labor involved I had 8 new pieces of furniture put together. Kevin was just a pro going to town on my bedroom furniture. He had my bedframe, bookcase, and side table put together by the time I had my one little table done. Slowly but surely my little house is becoming my home. I bought a vaccum today--simple but an amazing thing! Now my house will be cleaner. My project list looking something like the following:

1. Hang my fabulous paintings
2. Frame the rest of the Africa paintings
3. Buy Pots & Pans--yeah I kinda need these to actually cook
4. Paint my rooms
5. Replace the carpets in my house
6. Make and hang curtains
7. Get the rugs for various locations
8. Buy the rest of my stuff for the kitchen so I can have it functional
9. Oh yeah get a kitchen table
10. Decorate to my personal taste

The list continues on I promise, which is why I have a year to get it to my taste. In the mean time I will enjoy it all and get to work in my craft room. I can't wait to show my place off.
