OCTOBER

Okay, its been a while. Life has what shall we say crazy, insane, chaotic, upside down, and oh about everything else. What can I say, one day I hope it all makes sense. October was a blast. I can only say it is still my favorite month of the whole year. 

Carrie is hilarious! She does a short little chuckle when she sees me now.  Its fun to watch to her explore, giggle, army crawl, and just go crazy. We have movie and popcorn sessions now. She screeches away and just makes bad days so much better. 

Tilly was a much braver person than me and dived into ice cold water, ran through electric wires, jumped through mud, and climbing over everything. Kayla and I stood taking pictures and freezing to death. I can only imagine how numb the rest of them were. She and Blake crossed that line and did a huge happy dance! I seriously don't know how she did it but I am so proud of her! 

Kayla came and invaded Utah for a week. I love this girl and missed her since the boat. Though it was a little different seeing her in regular people clothes. We had so much fun picking apples, eating apples, playing with the pumpkins, eating all sorts of junk food, watching movies, wading through the muddy corn maze, getting lost in the muddy corn maze, hiked around to enjoy the colors, and just talked around. I've missed that girl what can I say! I would say we successfully gave her a taste of a Utah fall. 

Whitney, my boat buddy, got married to the love of her life. We showed Kayla Temple Square. We danced like crazy people, ate great food, and giggled liked girls. Her wedding was beautiful, classy, and I can't wait to have that goofy over the top smile that she did that day. She was gorgeous in her dress! I love Weddings! Drinks all around.  Oh I love Temple Square in the fall!

 

I experienced another joy of home ownership. My disposal decided to freakout. Being the crazy person that I am, ordered a new disposal off amazon. Yeah, I may be obsessed okay I admit it. After a few phone calls, a little jiggy-rigging, and some muscle use, IT WORKS!!!! Though I did manage to get covered in gross nastiness. 

Halloween night is one I don't mind working. Crazy, fun costumes, lots of sugar, great friends, and trick or treating. Halloween is still one of my favorite holidays. A chance to be a kid again. A chance to step out of reality and do the simple things that brought simple joys. Plus being a punk allows me to show my true personality :D. Plus, when do I get to see Tilly decked on in complete pinky girliness. I love it. Carrie and a few of my other favorite kiddos came to visit me. Dressed up. Of course I had to give them candy. What kind of aunt would I be if I didn't. I can't believe Halloween is done already. Only a few short days until the next one. 

I love October. Never ceases to be gorgeous, full of excitement, and great times. How I wish it could happen more than once a year.  Plus, I got to break out my sweatpants, sweatshirts, and boots. Oh I love the crisp fall weather of October.
