My Dad

Things I Love About my Dad:
  1. His dedication to our family--he works so hard and sacrifices so much to give us opportunities and experiences.
  2. The fact that he is going bald.
  3. His new glasses, he pulls off the grandpa look quite well.
  4. His never ending advice is helping me figure out my life right now.
  5. He is one of the hardest workers I know and gives his all to the gospel, family, and work.
  6. His hobbies that change each year except for a few constants a.k.a. hunting, photography, golf, and tennis.
  7. How everyone seems to find him intimidating but I can't see it at all.
  8. How almost without fail he will be asleep on the couch watching the news before dinner and be up at 0600 to go to work.
  9. His addiction to chocolate ice cream and M&Ms (one I have adopted as well)
  10. The smile on his face when he is trying not to laugh--yes dad we know its there.
  11. The hugs I get every night before I go to bed.
  12. The fact that I can still call him Daddy even though I am 23 years old.
  13. How he pulled out a shot gun and put it by the front door for my first date.
  14. His Priesthood power and how it has blessed my life.
  15. How proud he looked when I graduated high school in the top 30, won Jr. Miss, graduated from college, and got my first "real" job.
  16. How I can see a lot of him in myself and I'm okay with that.

I have no idea where I would be without my dad. He's been the voice inside my head pushing me to do more than I though I could ever do. Happy Father's Day Dad!
