I love Halloween. An excuse to eat candy, dress up in costumes, and carve pumpkins. Its the perfect excuse for anyone who doesn't want to really grow up--which would be me of course. I work Halloween weekend but decided I wanted a party anyway. My family and friends entertained me Monday night. Originally I was going to be the Joker but decided that might be a bit too scary for the kids on Halloween. My Witchiness came out instead. Dress, tights, hat, and make-up later I am pretty sure I pull of a pretty good witch. Hold the sarcastic comments please. The day was hectic to being with giving me little time to pull it off. I had amazing people come. My family all decked out in costume, the Ivies--my second family, Levi, Crystal, Becky, Rachel, Kara and Dani. People who continue to make me laugh. Ever since I was little I have watch Garfield's Halloween and The Great Pumpkin, when I found them on DVD last year I did a little dance. I watched those to get in the mood while people were arriving. Dinner was delicious--Bread bowls with taco soup and potato soup, desserts, and candy of course. We carved pumpkins, ate donuts off a string, and dug for worms in whipped cream. Why my dad had to bring his camera I don't know--but I have some pretty embarassing pictures. Good thing I got over that a while ago. The night ended with me passing out watching Harry Potter. I love parties and decided I need to throw more of them. Halloween Celebrations have only just begun!
