Nemo

At work when I charge I try to be an example of everything a responsible adult should be. At work we are trying to improve the perception of the care we provide. Clinically my department can handle anything, we could do better on the warm fuzzies though. So I am trying to set the standard and be the example of this. Well I've been doing better--except for last night.

I don't know what was in the water last night but we all snapped at 0400. One nurse I work with called a pneumothorax instead of a NEMOthorax. BIG mistake. Numerous and endless Disney comments erupted from then--all of them had us on the floor giggling like teenagers.

Here are just a few of them:

  1. We need an x-ray to rule out the white and gold fish
  2. We will need an anemone retriever stat.
  3. Let's name the zones the zones the zones lets name the zones.
  4. LUCKY FIN!
  5. Shark-bait-oo haha
  6. Was Dory in there with him?
  7. Just keep swimming just keep swimming.
Like I said it was 0400 and we had cracked. Every single person was laughing with the various references to a variety of Disney movies. Oh how I love my co-workers. Who else would have me on the floor laughing at dumb things at 0400?
