I love this Race! Without a doubt it is my favorite Half I've ever run. The canyon--while chilly at 0430--is gorgeous as the sun comes up and perfect to run down. Plus my favorite part is why. This half 100% cancer. Along the route they have signs and stories of cancer survivors. Reminds me that I can do this simple thing for those who cant do it for themselves. Plus 2 hrs of running is a great way to clear your head. I need to train better but I was still able to push myself and got my best Half Time Ever! 2:06:57 A great starting point to launch the rest of the race season! I love summer!
