No Sleep, Lots of Balls, and Cold Snow Oh My!

I'm always dead of after working 6 shifts in a row. Something I don't like to do very often, however its nice to have 7 days off in a row. I usually give myself a day to recover but that didn't work today. After 4 hours of sleep, I woke up and booked it to Murray where my talented little sister, Kristi, competed in the Utah Region Tournament. I haven't watched her play in a while and wow, she can play. I sat there and watched her talk to herself, slam the ball across the court, and run back and forth like a pro. She came out to win 3rd and will now compete in state next week. I'm so proud of my little sister.

I have a small addiction to the fall. The snow today had better go away. I've only had one trip up to the canyon and with my week off I plan to visit a lot. The sky today was amazing. Clouds covered the tips of the mountains while splashes of red poked through. My favorite was when the sun broke through the clouds and shown on the mountains. The cold is here and I love it. This cold--not the bitter cruel cold--but the kind that makes you want to put on a sweatshirt, grab a cup of hot chocolate, and watch the rain. I am so a Utah girl. In love with the mountains.

Glad you get some 'me' time. If I didn't say it enough already - love the colors in that new rug of yours! Can't wait to see where you go from there with that bad boy.

If I could have my way? pretty, pretty golden walls and satin-ee draperies...but that's me. Can't wait to see what YOU do!!
