Cookies

I don't spend enough time with the little kids in my life. So today I had 5 of my favorite people come over to make cookies. Dani, Nicki, Vee, Amber, & Weston came over today to decorate sugar cookies. I grew up eating nummy, soft, fluffy sugar cookies. Sneaking them out of the freezer or dumping tons of frosting on top. Weston is a funny kid. When Nicki arrived they both just took off making their mark on my house. Books, blankets, cars, you name it was out on the floor. Weston loves my bed. He quickly ran upstairs found all the teddy bears and helped them all "sleep." He then buried himself in my blankets and pillows so he could sleep too. Crazy boy. Nicki just sat there giggling and laughing at us.

The fun started when I pulled the dough out. Of course the first impulse was to eat all the dough. I helped but we did manage to sneak pieces here and there. The best part came when we decorated. I am sure I will find sprinkles for weeks to come. Nicki managed to smear the colors. She had red streaks all over her face and hands. Weston just kept sprinkling away. Both decided to dump the cups of sprinkles on one cookie. Me & the kids by the end were covered in flour and sprinkles--with a little frosting mixed in there. Overall I loved spending time with Dani & Amber while acting like a kid with Weston and Nicki. Poor Vee just slept the whole time
