Colors

I had a different experience today. I was plastered and I mean plastered with a variety of colors. Dani & I have never attended the festival of colors. Actually I have lived in Utah my whole life and have never seen the Hido Temple. Sad. I know. We parked almost 3 miles away and walked in awe at the MASSIVE amounts of people migrating to the temple. After getting the different color packages, we attempted to wander through the crowds. I found Mark but did not recognize anyone else, but with the hundreds of people there I'm not surprised. Color was everywhere. After the countdown you could not see two feet in front of your face. Powder went up my nose and into my teeth. I swear I can still taste it. A girl was in her wedding dress and plastered with color. Little kids were brightly decorated and rolling around attempting to get dirtier. Next year my camera will be better covered; a white t-shirt will be worn; park in the parking lot; bring a new set of clothes to change into; and don't inhale when the colors are released.
